This is IP multicasting practically carrying an IPTV service using the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) and Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) protocols. IGMP and PIM are introduced and then PIM Sparse Mode and Source Specific Mode is tested practically using labs.
