This course introduces experienced Java SE developers to the world of Java EE.

Participants will transform a simple Java SE command-line app into a multi-tiered enterprise application using Java EE technologies such as:

• Enterprise Java Beans (EJB)

• Java Persistence API (JPA)

• Java Messaging Service (JMS)

• JAX-RS for REST services

• Contexts and Dependency Injection (CDI)

• Proficiency in Java SE development (2+ years)
