SAFe Release Train Engineer with RTE certification Training in Denmark

The SAFe Release Train Engineer course is designed for professionals who are preparing to take on the Release Train Engineer (RTE) role or want to develop a deeper understanding of its responsibilities within a SAFe® enterprise.

Throughout this three-day course, participants will explore the role and key responsibilities of a Release Train Engineer in detail. You will learn how an RTE facilitates and enables end-to-end value delivery through Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Value Streams.

The course also focuses on the RTE's contribution to building and supporting a high-performing ART. You will examine how adopting the mindset of a Servant Leader and Coach can help strengthen collaboration, support teams, and improve the effectiveness of the Agile Release Train.

A major part of the training focuses on Program Increment (PI) Planning. Participants will learn how to prepare for, organize, and execute a PI Planning event, which serves as a key mechanism for creating alignment across the different levels of a SAFe organization.

The course also prepares participants for the SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification exam.

The following experience and qualifications are highly recommended before attending the course:

• Participation in at least one Agile Release Train (ART)
• Participation in at least one Program Increment (PI)
• At least one current SAFe certification

Part 2: Applying SAFe Principles and Organizing the ART

Examine how SAFe principles apply to the RTE role and how an Agile Release Train is organized to support effective value delivery.

Part 3: Planning a Program Increment

Learn about the preparation, planning, and organizational activities required for an effective PI Planning event.

Part 4: Executing a Program Increment

Explore the facilitation and coordination responsibilities of the RTE throughout Program Increment execution.

Part 5: Fostering Relentless Improvement

Examine how the RTE can encourage and support an ongoing culture of improvement across the Agile Release Train.

Part 6: Serving the ART

Understand how an RTE serves and supports the ART and its teams through Servant Leadership and coaching.

Part 7: Continuing Your Learning Journey

Explore how participants can continue developing their RTE capabilities and progress further in their SAFe learning journey.
