Prerequisites

Participants must have successfully completed the APMG AgilePM Foundation certification as a prerequisite for enrolling in the Practitioner course.

Please note - learners must have completed the v3 Foundation - QAAGPMF - not the v2 Foundation (PPMAGF)

  • Defining work at each project lifecycle phase
  • Estimating work based on project phase and the practice of 'last responsible moment'
  • Applying MoSCoW prioritisation to ensure delivery of the Minimum Usable Subset

Planning and controlling the work of the project

  • Agile planning concepts for different lifecycle phases
  • Tracking progress and responding to change across sprints and tranches
  • Tailoring Scrum for multi-team project planning and dependency management

Exams

The Practitioner exam tests participants' ability to apply and analyse AgilePM principles and practices. The exam includes scenario-based questions that assess the participant's ability to:

  • Understand AgilePM concepts and roles
  • Apply AgilePM techniques to real-world scenarios
  • Analyse the appropriateness of AgilePM methods for given project situations
  • Each of the four questions contains 15 question lines, each of which attracts 1
    mark, giving a total of 60 marks
  • The pass mark is 30 (50%)
