This course consists of an introduction to Business relationship management, where it sits within the ITIL framework and its worth in relation to the co-creation of value.
It draws upon the purpose of the BRM Practice: To establish and nurture the links between the service provider and the key stakeholders of service consumers at strategic and tactical levels. It includes the identification, analysis, monitoring and continual improvement of relationships with business stakeholders.
The course looks at the capabilities needed for an effective and efficient BRM practice, how it works in relation to the Information and Technology, and Partners and Suppliers dimensions within ITIL. It discusses the roles, skills and organisational solutions that the BRM Practice can bring to an organisation. It also identifies some of the high-level models and techniques associated with managing a BRM function within an organization.
At the end of the course the expectation is that delegates can take away some of the information and use it in their organisations.
It also allows delegates to meet like-minded people, share experiences and learn from each other whilst taking onboard the best practice advice and guidance provided by the instructor.
