Certified Telecommunications Project Management (CTPM®) Training in Netherlands

Build the knowledge and practical skills required to define, initiate, manage, deliver and successfully close complex telecommunications projects. The CTPM® program focuses on delivering projects on schedule, within the agreed budget and in accordance with demanding quality requirements.

Successful projects require highly capable, multi-skilled project managers who can communicate effectively, plan and execute strategic project decisions, and manage circumstances that could negatively affect project progress. An effective project manager must also establish a structured approach that enables project processes to be delivered consistently, with repeatability and scalability.

The Certified Telecommunications Project Management (CTPM®) program provides learners with the skills, methods and confidence needed to develop a complete end-to-end project implementation plan based on a multi-faceted campus telecommunications project.

CTPM® draws on globally recognised project management standards while incorporating technical knowledge from programs within The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework. Bringing these disciplines together creates a specialised project management education program designed around the fast-moving requirements of telecommunications design and implementation.

Throughout the program, learners complete eight individual assignments. Each assignment is assessed separately, and together they form a comprehensive project management plan portfolio.

A certified CTPM® professional is also expected to consider compliance requirements and understand the impact of national and international regulations, codes of practice and relevant standards on telecommunications projects.

After completing the program, learners are encouraged to continue their professional development and advance their knowledge and skills through further certifications and qualifications. Progression through The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework supports continued career development across the network infrastructure and data centre sectors.

Previous experience with telecommunications projects in a data centre or enterprise network environment would be advantageous.

Throughout the program, learners explore the complete project management lifecycle, from project initiation through to successful completion. They examine the value of repeatable project processes while gaining practical experience in applying established project management tools and methods.

Learners have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and understanding to a complex telecommunications project, developing the ability to prepare, structure and deliver a comprehensive project management plan.
