The Lean Portfolio Management course helps executives, project management officers (PMOs) and other key stakeholders plan dynamically and be flexible enough to adjust initiatives and budgets as the market changes. The LPM course provides the guidance and tools you need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams. You’ll learn how to connect portfolio strategy and initiatives to the agility planning and execution of work, how to integrate feedback from participatory budgeting, and how to adapt to change while maintaining your funding vision and roadmap.
Participants will learn to use the Portfolio Canvas tool to capture the current and future state of their portfolio and identify important business initiatives. They will also learn to prioritize epics for maximum economic benefit using the Portfolio Kanban and establish Value Stream Budgets or Lean Budget Guardrails. Additionally, the course provides insights on measuring the Lean portfolio performance.
After successfully completing the course and passing the qualifying exam participants will earn the SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager (LPM) certification.
Real-World Exercises: In this course, learners will apply the concepts taught in class by breaking out into small groups or teams and completing hands-on, scenario-based exercises related to each module.
