Tackle bigger challenges with sophisticated statistical tools.

Stretching you beyond Black Belt, this course will enable you to explore the application of additional statistical tools for specific situations. This includes statistical techniques to analyse “difficult” data such as rare events or seasonal data as well as expanding the range of tools at your disposal for understanding and modelling business processes.

Delegates must already hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification

As a result of attending this course delegates will be able to:

  • Build on the fundamentals of control charts, understand when it is appropriate to apply more specialised control charts for specific situations
  • Build on the fundamentals of regression analysis, apply analysis techniques for attribute response variables and screening of multiple factors
  • Apply techniques to analyse highly skewed data
  • Apply techniques to analyse seasonal data
  • Build on the fundamentals of Design of Experiments (DoE) and apply fractional factorial DoE and Surface Response Methods

  • Additional control charts –
    • Short run SPC
    • Control charts for processes with trends
    • Control charts for rare events
  • Regression modelling with attributes data
  • Screening predictor variables using Stepwise Regression
  • Dealing with difficult data -
    • Comparing counts with different areas of opportunity
    • Aggregate data with different sources of variation
    • Highly skewed data
    • Seasonality
  • Design of experiments
