ITIL 4 is the very latest version of service management best practice guidance and is designed to ensure a flexible coordinated system for the effective governance and management of IT-enabled services. ITIL 4 has evolved to encompass changed practices that are suited to addressing the challenges involved in delivering successful digital transformation, as well as taking advantage of new ways of working such as DevOps, Agile and Lean.
