Zoom is a collaboration hub where people and information come together, helping everyone get work done. On this ½ day virtual session, you’ll learn the essential skills to use Zoom effectively.

There are no prerequisites for this course, although knowledge of Virtual Meetings i.e. hosting or attending would benefit an attendee.

  • Access Zoom in a web client or on a Downloaded App
  • Use their Zoom Account to host a meeting
  • Set up Meeting Options
  • Start a Meeting and Invite others to the meeting
  • Share Screen and allow delegate access
  • Chat and Share Files in a Zoom Meeting
  • Use other Zoom features if available i.e. Web Cam / Recordings

Module 1: Access Zoom

  • Locating and using via Website
  • Downloading an using local installed App (restrictions may apply)
  • Setting Zoom Options for meetings

Module 2: Creating a Meeting

  • Adding Zoom appointments and joining meetings
  • Basic Meeting interactions with attendees i.e. Chat and Webcams
  • Sharing a File over Zoom to attendees to download

Module 3: Zoom Meetings

  • Sharing a Window application i.e. a PPT Presentation
  • Sharing your screen with participants
  • Allowing access to your screen
  • Recording meetings
