 Professional Scrum Product Owner - Advanced (PSPO-A) is a hands-on, activity-based course designed to help experienced Product Owners and Product Managers develop their ability to set a vision, validate their assumptions and, ultimately, deliver more value to their stakeholders. 


This two -day professional course, Professional Product Owner – Advanced (PSPO -A), aims to help experienced practitioners to develop their ability to establish a solid vision, to validate their hypotheses and to bring more value to their stakeholders. The PSPO-A course is intended for product owners who wish to develop their knowledge and their capacities.

The course goes beyond the subjects covered in the PSPO course (Professional Scrum Product Owner) by deepening the understanding of the role by the participant by exploring the many postures of a professional product owner. This course is an interactive and experimental workshop during which participants explore subjects by means of a series of exercises and discussions. Students must have at least one year of experience as product owner and practical knowledge of scrum to be able to participate in these exercises and take advantage of them.



Who Should Attend?

This course is intended for Product Owners, Product Managers and Business Analysts. It focuses on skills, tools, techniques, and knowledge in terms of product management in the context of their work within the Scrum team.

The course doesn’t cover much of the scrum framework, and we assume that participants have a good understanding of it. Participants must have at least a year of experience as product owner or product manager. Having a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification is preferable, but not mandatory.

The role of the Product Owner is multiple, it forces the practitioner to adopt behaviours and mentalities going beyond the agility and the scrum framework. This course highlights these behaviours by putting the participant in the challenge of adopting different postures of Product Owner:

  • Visionary – Communicate vision, future state and possibilities so as to promote common understanding
