This two-day course is designed for data center operators who are responsible for the day-to-day management of a VMware vSphere® environment using VMware vRealize® Operations™. This course will teach you how to use vRealize Operations as a forensic and predictive tool. The course is based on VMware ESXi™ 6.5, VMware vCenter Server® 6.5, and vRealize Operations 6.6.

Note: If you have taken the VMware vRealize Operations Manager: Install, Configure, Manage course, duplicate content makes this course unsuitable for you.

In order to facilitate your VMware e-courseware provision QA will share your name and email address (that which we have registered for you on our business systems) with VMware. VMware will then send you directly the details of your e-courseware access no less than 48 hours before your course is due to take place. VMware will not use these details for any other purpose than provisioning you with your e-courseware.

Those delegates who are attending via either virtual or extended classroom will be required to provide either dual monitors or single monitor plus a tablet device.

Technical pre-requisites

This class requires completion of one of the following courses, or system administration experience with vSphere deployments:

  • VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.5]
  • VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V6.5]

By the end of the course, you should be able to meet the following objectives:

  • Navigate the VMware vRealize® Operations Manager™ user interface
  • Use views and reports to gather information about the environment
  • Use alerts and analysis badges to troubleshoot common and complex vSphere operational issues
  • Monitor capacity risk and infrastructure utilization, and perform capacity planning and what-if analyses
  • Use tags and groups to logically organize objects, for example, by application, by organization, or by location
  • Configure policies to meet the operational needs of your environment

VMware vRealize Operations for Operators [V6.x] Training Course in Norway

Additionally, the city is a popular tourist destination, known for its scenic location on the Oslo Fjord, its many museums and cultural attractions, and its vibrant nightlife and dining scene. Some of the most popular museums in Oslo are The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, The Nobel Peace Center, The National Museum of Art, Architecture, and Design, The Munch Museum and The Vigeland Museum.
