On this highly engaging and interactive 4-day course you’ll be introduced to the five connected elements of PRINCE2 - project context, principles, practices, processes, with people at its centre. Reflecting the changing face of project management, this latest version of PRINCE2 includes essential concepts such as sustainability, data management, commercial management and most importantly people management.

Covering the entire PRINCE2 syllabus, this is an accelerated version of our standard 5-day Foundation-Practitioner course that has been designed to optimize your studies at specific times throughout the year, normally when UK bank holidays are planned. The course is divided into a 2-day Foundation event and a 2-day Practitioner. You can schedule your exams on a day and time that suits you, providing the opportunity for further private study to ensure that you’re fully prepared for the examination.

Prerequisites

There are no formal pre-requisites for PRINCE2 Foundation although participants would benefit from some prior experience of working in projects.

Before attempting the Practitioner exam, you must possess the PRINCE2-7 Foundation qualification or one of the other suitable certifications listed on the PeopleCert website (for example, PMI-CAPM and PMP or an IPMA Level A-D qualification).

Pre-course Learning: To ensure that you come to your course fully prepared, a set of bite-sized activities will help you create an effective study plan and familiarise yourself with the PRINCE2 method. The full list of activities may take up to five hours to complete, helping you get the most from your course and increase the probability of exam success.

Target audience

PRINCE2 Foundation is designed for entry-level project professionals who wish to understand more about the PRINCE2 project management method.

The Practitioner certification is targeted at those who are managing projects, either as part of a formal project management function or a role in which project management is an essential part of day-to-day work.

  • Pass mark: 60%
  • Use of the official PRINCE2 course manual only is allowed
