SAFe Lean Portfolio Management Training in Kuwait

The SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) course focuses on creating a working culture that encourages innovation, flexibility, and speed while enabling people across the portfolio to operate effectively as one aligned team.

During this two-day course, participants will explore practical tools and techniques for implementing the key Lean Portfolio Management functions of Strategy and Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations, and Lean Governance.

As part of the course, you will use the Portfolio Canvas to capture both the current state of the portfolio and its desired future state. This process will help you identify the key business initiatives required to move the portfolio toward its future objectives.

You will also learn how to establish portfolio flow using the Portfolio Kanban and prioritize initiatives according to their potential economic benefit.

The course additionally examines how to establish Value Stream Budgets and Lean Budget Guardrails, as well as approaches for measuring Lean portfolio performance.

Before the course, participants will have access to approximately three hours of preparatory learning, consisting mainly of video-based content supported by additional reading materials. These resources will be available through SAFe Studio.

A SAFe Studio account will need to be created to access the materials. All necessary instructions and support for this process will be provided. The preparation materials are expected to be sent to learners approximately one week before the course begins.

Participants are expected to:

• Be familiar with Agile concepts and principles
• Have attended a Leading SAFe® or SAFe® PO/PM course, or possess equivalent knowledge
• Have experience working within a SAFe environment

Important Note: The Miro collaboration platform is used during live virtual course sessions. Participants should confirm that they can access Miro in advance to ensure full participation and gain maximum value from the training.

Using a personal device rather than a restricted corporate computer is strongly recommended where possible to reduce the risk of access limitations.

Exam Fees and Retake Policy

The first exam attempt is included in the course registration fee, provided that the exam is taken within 30 days of completing the course.

Each additional retake costs $50.

The following retake conditions apply:

• The second attempt, which is the first retake, may be taken immediately after the initial attempt.
• A 10-day waiting period is required before the third attempt.
• A 30-day waiting period applies before the fourth attempt.
• Questions regarding exam retakes can be directed to Scaled Agile support.

For cancellations made within one week of the course start date, £120 of the course fee is non-refundable. This amount represents the cost of registering each learner on the SAFe site for the certification exam.

Participants who successfully pass the certification exam will receive:

• SAFe® Lean Portfolio Manager 6.0 digital badge for promoting their achievement online
