Prerequisites

Participants should already be familiar with Agile principles and practices. Attendance at a minimum of one previous SAFe course is required before taking this course.

Important Note: Miro is used as the collaboration platform during live virtual training sessions. To participate fully and gain maximum value from the course, learners should confirm that they can access Miro before the training begins.

Using a personal device instead of a restricted corporate computer is strongly recommended to minimize potential access limitations.

Participants may also be eligible to apply for Scrum Education Units (SEUs) under Category C toward earning or renewing a CSP certification through Scrum Alliance.

Exam Format: Multiple choice
Exam Delivery: Web-based, single-browser, closed book, timed, and completed without outside assistance
Exam Access: Available through SAFe Studio after completion of the SAFe® for Architects course
Exam Duration: 90 minutes (1.5 hours)
Number of Questions: 45
Passing Score: 71%

Exam Fees and Retake Policy

The first exam attempt is included in the course registration fee when the exam is taken within 30 days of completing the course.

Each additional retake costs $50.

The retake policy is as follows:

The second attempt, which is the first retake, may be taken immediately after the initial attempt.
A 10-day waiting period applies before the third attempt.
A 30-day waiting period applies before the fourth attempt.
Questions concerning exam retakes can be directed to Scaled Agile support.

For cancellations made within one week of the course start date, £120 of the course fee is non-refundable, as this represents the cost of registering each learner on the SAFe site for the exam.

Participants who pass the exam receive the SAFe® Architect certificate, a SAFe® Architect 6.0 digital badge, and a one-year certified SAFe Studio membership.
