Throughout the programme, learners explore key data concepts including relational data, non-relational data, big data, and analytics, and examine how these approaches are implemented using Azure services. The course also introduces common roles, responsibilities, and tasks within the data profession.
Participants explore relational data services in Azure, including the provisioning, deployment, and querying of relational databases. The programme also covers non-relational data services and the use of non-relational data stores within Azure.
The analytics section introduces modern data warehouse concepts, data ingestion, storage, and processing options. Learners explore services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure HDInsight. The course also introduces Microsoft Power BI, including its main components and how they work together.
