In this two-day certification course, learn to effectively perform the Product Owner/ Product Manager (POPM) role in the Agile Release Train (ART). Gain skills to break down Epics into Features and Stories, manage backlogs, leverage AI, plan and execute Iterations and Planning Intervals, and use the Continuous Delivery Pipeline for improvement.
All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However the following prerequisites are highly recommended:
There are around 3 hours of mostly video-led learning – supported by additional reading – that will be accessed through SAFe studio. An account will need to be set up for this, but all instructions and support will be provided. This will be sent to all learners approximately 1 week prior to the course start date.
Please note: This course uses the Miro collaboration platform during live virtual sessions. To fully participate and gain maximum benefit, learners should ensure they are able to access Miro in advance.
Use of a personal device (rather than a restricted corporate machine) is strongly recommended to avoid access limitations.

Lead and Support PI Planning
Understand how to prepare for and lead PI planning, aligning vision with business goals and working with teams to establish clear PI objectives.
Product Delivery
Use lean-agile thinking and customer-centricity to define, prioritize, and deliver features and stories that can be built, tested, and delivered quickly.
AI Skills for Modern Product Roles
Learn practical, responsible AI techniques to enhance backlog refinement, prioritization, feature discovery, and customer connection.

Attendees must attend both days of the course in order to qualify for the exam.
Please note that, in the event of cancellation within 1 week of the course start date, that £120 of the course fee is non-refundable as this is the cost to register each learner for the SAFe site for the exam.
