The TOGAF® standard is the foremost generic framework in the field of IS/IT Architecture. It contains substantial guidance on what to do to establish an architecture practice and then how to use it in connection with planning the longer-term transformation of the enterprise (strategic architecture), and designing capabilities to support it.

This accredited course examines how practitioners can base their activities on a solid set of processes. It looks at the latest version (V9.2) of the framework as a whole, including the numerous techniques to assist in organising, governing and now in the latest version, describing architecture. The recommendations on how to adapt the framework to deal with issues such as Security and Service-oriented Architecture are also covered.


Target Audience

  • Architects from within complex organisations looking for a set of solid processes to help in the organisation, governance and management of architecture teams and multiple architecture projects.

There are no formal pre-requisites for this course and certification.

It is however strongly advised that delegates have several years' experience in IT in a variety of roles have an understanding of Enterprise or IT Architecture.

The Nordic country Norway, is in Northern Europe. Due to the country's high latitude, there are large seasonal variations in daylight. From late May to late July, the sun never completely descends beneath the horizon. Which attracts many tourists around the world to see the "Land of the Midnight Sun". Tourists mainly visit Sognefjord, Norway's Largest Fjord, Pulpit Rock, one of the most photographed sites in Norway and of course the capital; Oslo.

Oslo is considered the business center of Norway. It is the country's largest city and the capital of Norway. The city is home to many of Norway's largest and most important companies, as well as several international organizations and research institutions. Additionally, the city is a popular tourist destination, known for its scenic location on the Oslo Fjord, its many museums and cultural attractions, and its vibrant nightlife and dining scene. Some of the most popular museums in Oslo are The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, The Nobel Peace Center, The National Museum of Art, Architecture, and Design, The Munch Museum and The Vigeland Museum.
